Royalty Policy -
At Resonant Creatives, we firmly believe that royalties should remain with the original author(s) and creator(s) of the song. Below is our structured approach to determining how and when royalties are split:
1️⃣ Songwriting & Production Contributions
If Resonant Creatives or any of its employees contribute to songwriting or song production, a Royalty Contract (provided by Resonant Creatives) must be discussed and agreed upon in writing by both parties before any work begins.
The distribution of royalties will be fairly determined based on the level of contribution from each party involved.
2️⃣ Mixing, Editing, & Mastering
If Resonant Creatives or its employees are involved only in the mixing, editing, or mastering of a song, the original author(s) retain 100% of their royalties.
There will be no infringement upon the rights of the songwriter(s) in these cases.
We are committed to fair and transparent royalty practices that honor the hard work and creativity of every artist we collaborate with.
Commercial Release License Policy -
At Resonant Creatives, we value transparency and ensure artists retain the rights to their work. Below are our policies regarding Commercial Release Licenses:
1️⃣ Original Songs
A Commercial Release License will be issued for any original song written by you, the author, granting you full rights to use the provided sound recordings however you choose.
If a Royalty Contract is in place, the terms of that agreement will dictate how royalties are collected and distributed among all parties.
2️⃣ Cover Songs
Resonant Creatives does not provide Commercial Release Licenses for cover song recordings.
Artists wishing to release a cover song must secure their own licenses to legally distribute and monetize those recordings.
Resonant Creatives is not liable for copyright claims resulting from failure to obtain proper licenses for commercial use.
By using Resonant Creatives' services, you agree to these terms and acknowledge your responsibility in ensuring legal compliance when releasing music commercially.
